H3C S12500X/F/M-AF-series Switch
E2709 version: E2709H09, E2709H11 and E2709H13 patch
R2713 version: R2713H15, R2713H17, R2713H19, R2713H21, R2713H23, E2709H25 patch
When the above device version patches are installed over each other (for example, R2713H15 has been installed and R2713H23 has been installed), it may cause abnormal interlocking of the device forwarding process, abnormal forwarding services of the whole machine, and patch installation failure.
For example, when the patch is installed, the device is configured with ip load-sharing mode xxx related commands at the same time, which will cause this problem with great probability.
When the above patches are installed over each other, the forwarding process of the main control board and the service board restarts at the same time, which may cause abnormal interlocking of processes.
When the device is configured with ip load-sharing mode xxx, the related forwarding process will synchronize the information of the main control board and the service board, which may cause an abnormal interlock.
1. In response to the above scenario problems, the following patches are released to solve:
a) Release E2709H98, R2713H98 patches (planned to be released in mid-October). When the above-mentioned scenario patches are overwritten and installed, first load the corresponding version of the H98 patch to protect the restart sequence of the forwarding process. After the patch installation is complete, the corresponding H98 patch can be uninstalled .
b) Release E2709H13, R2713H25 patch (planned to be released in mid-October) to completely solve the problem, but still need to cooperate with the corresponding version of H98 patch to load. Subsequent patches can be directly updated on the basis of E2709H13 (inclusive), R2713H25 (inclusive) and later patches.
2. For devices that have been deployed with the above patch, it is not recommended to operate the device patch before the problem-solving patch is released. Please contact the technical support center for special circumstances.
