After the above-mentioned high-end products are upgraded to the relevant
version and restarted, some of the existing custom IPS policy configurations
will be lost, causing the corresponding IPS function to fail.
This problem only involves the restart after the upgraded version, and the normal restart is not affected.
The new version modifies the DPI module. During the startup of the device software update due to a software bug, an exception occurred during the recovery of the configuration of the master control, and the IPS policy was not successfully loaded completely.
1. The default IPS policy is not affected, and no rectification is required.
2. If a custom IPS policy which involves upgrading to an abnormal version is used, and It is currently impossible to judge whether there is a configuration loss, and the following rectifications are required:
Avoidance: After deleting the IPS policy during the window period, reconfigure it according to the current network business requirements. After the operation is completed, save the configuration (Note: Do not refer to the configuration currently displayed on the network device, as the configuration may have been lost).
Solution: After implementing the circumvention measures, upgrade M9000 to R9141P34 or later, M9000-S to R9712P30 or later, and T9000-S to R9811P33 or later to solve the problem completely.
