问题描述

根据 HPE IML记录，直连 NVMe SSD可能会在操作系统（OS）中意外消失。这些硬盘会被记录为 “已移除” 状态，短时间后又恢复显示为 “已插入” 状态。该问题的成因是iLO 与硬盘背板之间存在通信故障，进而导致硬盘背板执行长时间复位操作。这种长时间复位同时会对所连接的 NVMe 固态硬盘执行完全复位，在主机系统看来，就等同于硬盘被移除后又重新接入

如下示例，当此问题发生时，IML检测到如下类似信息：

"NVMe Storage - Drive at Embedded:Port=XX:Box=Y:Bay=Z status changed to Removed ACTION: 1. Verify cables are good and fully seated. 2. Ensure all drives are fully seated. 3. Verify backplane, controller, and drive compatibility. 4. Replace the defective drive."

"NVMe Storage - Drive at Embedded:Port=XX:Box=Y:Bay=Z status changed to Inserted ACTION: 1. Verify cables are good and fully seated. 2. Ensure all drives are fully seated. 3. Verify backplane, controller, and drive compatibility. 4. Replace the defective drive."

解决方法

更新UBM6背板固件到UBM6 Backplane PIC PLDM Firmware for Gen10/Gen10P/Gen11/Gen12 servers firmware version 1.06 或更高版本。

当硬盘直连至服务器时，可支持 PLDM 固件包（FWPKG）组件。

通常情况下，将 UBM6 固件版本更新至 1.06 后，无需重启操作系统。

该问题发生时，无需更换硬盘，更换操作也无法解决此问题。此外， IML中出现的所有硬盘故障相关提示信息，均可放心忽略。
