There are two implementation effects of binding: one is to bind the user name and IP address, and log in with the same user name in different terminals to get the same IP address; the other is to bind the MAC address and IP address of the terminal, and different terminals will bind different IP addresses to ensure that the terminal can get this address every time. The name-address binding here refers to the first case.
In the AD campus 5.0 scheme, starting from EIA E0611H03, name-address binding for 802.1x scenarios is supported, but not for Mac portal scenarios.
