What is the relationship between the conceptions of 802.11i, WPA, WPA2, PSK, 802.1X, TKIP, CCMP and AES?
802.11i is a wireless security protocol. It is a general principle and is equivalent to the "Constitution". Its content includes two parts: WPA and WPA2. WPA is equivalent to the "Regulations on Public Security Penalties", and WPA2 is equivalent to "Penalties", so WPA2 is a more advanced security method.
PSK and 802.1X are two ways to achieve wireless security. PSK is a personal level and relatively simple, while 802.1X is an enterprise level, which is more complicated but more secure.
TKIP and CCMP are two data encryption algorithms, which can be used in both WPA and WPA2. AES is the core algorithm in the CCMP algorithm, and it is currently the most reliable encryption algorithm.
