HPE SimpliVity DL325 Gen10 Plus v2 Servers：

Please ensure below settings are made in the BIOS for HPE SimpliVity DL325 Gen10 Plus v2 Server.

1. Power on the server. During the POST Press F9 for the server to boot to BIOS (System Utilities).

2. Select System Configuration menu.

3. Select BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) menu.

4. Select Workload Profile.

a. Set Workload Profile to Custom from the drop down menu.

5. Select System Options.

a. Set System Options→Server Availability→POST ASR to POST ASR ON.

b. Set System Options→Server Availability→POST ASR TIMER to 10 Minute Timer.

c. Set System Options→Server Asset Information→Server Information→Asset Tag Protection to Locked.

d. Set System Options→Server Asset Information→Custom Post Message to SimpliVity 325 Gen10 Plus V2.

e. Set System Options→Boot Time Optimizations→UEFI POST Discovery Mode to Force Full Discovery.

Return back to the BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) menu

6. Select Processor Options.

a. Set Processor Options→Determinism Control to Manual.

b. Set Processor Options→Performance Determinism to Performance Deterministic.

7. Select Memory Options.

a. Set Memory Options→NUMA memory domains per socket to One memory domain per socket.

b. Set Memory Options→Last-Level Cache (LLC) As NUMA Node to Enabled.

8. Select Boot Options.

a. Set Boot Options→Boot Order Policy to Attempt Boot Order Once.

b. Set Boot Options→UEFI Boot Settings→UEFI Boot Order to, depending on which boot controller you have, either Slot 2:HPE Smart Array E208i-p SR Gen10 or Slot 2: HPE MR216i Gen 10 Plus by dragging it to the top.

9. Select Network Options

a. Set Network Options→Network Boot Options→PCIe Slots Network Boot→Slot 3 NIC Port 1 Boot to Disabled.

10. Select Storage Options

a. Set Storage Options→Slot Storage Boot Policy→Storage Slot 12:HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10 to Boot No Targets.

b. Set Storage Options→NVM Express Options→Embedded NVM Express Option ROM to Disabled.

11. Select Power and Performance Options

a. Set Power and Performance Options→NUMA_Group_Size_Optimization to Clustered.

b. Set Power and Performance Options→Data Fabric C-State Enable to Disabled.

c. Set Power and Performance Options→Minimum Processor Idle Power Core C-State to No C-States.

d. Set Power and Performance Options→Power Regulator to Static High Performance Mode.

e. Set Power and Performance Options→Advanced Power Options→Infinity Fabric Power Management to Disabled.

f. Set Power and Performance Options→Advanced Power Options→Infinity Fabric Performance State to P0.

g. Set Power and Performance Options→Advanced Power Options→Redundant Power Supply Mode to High Efficiency Mode (Auto).

12. Select Advanced Options

a. Set Advanced Options→Fan and Thermal Options→Thermal Configuration to Increased Cooling.

b. Save and Exit.

6. Select Memory Options.

a. Set Memory Options→Memory Interleaving Mode to Channel Interleaving.

7.Select Boot Options.

a. Set Boot Options→Boot Order Policy to Attempt Boot Order Once.

8. Select Network Options

a. Set Network Options→Network Boot Options→Embedded LOM 1 Port 1 to Disabled.

b. Set Network Options→Network Boot Options→Embedded FlexibleLOM 1 Port 1 to Disabled.

9. Select Storage Options

a. Set Storage Options→Embedded Storage Boot Policy→Embedded RAID 1 : HPE Array P408i-a SR Gen10 to Boot No Targets.

b. Set Storage Options→PCIe Slot Storage Boot Policy→Slot 2: HPE Smart Array E208i-p SR Gen10 to Boot Limit to 24 Targets.

c. Set Storage Options→NVM Express Options→Embedded NVM Express Option ROM to Disabled.

10. Select Power and Performance Options

a. Set Power and Performance Options→NUMA_Group_Size_Optimization to Clustered.

b. Set Power and Performance Options→Power Regulator to Static High Performance Mode.

c. Set Power and Performance Options→Minimum Processor Idle Power Core C-State to No C-states.

d. Set Power and Performance Options→Advanced Power Options→Redundant Power Supply Mode to High Eficiency Mode (Auto).
