Configuration of GVRP on H3C S3600 series switch
1 Network requirements:
Port E1/0/1 of Switch A is connected to port E1/0/1 of Switch B. Enable GVRP on the switches to notify VLAN information between the switches.

3 Configuration procedure:
The related configuration on Switch A
3.1 Enable GVRP globally
[SwitchA]gvrp
3.2 Configurate port E1/0/1 to be a trunk port and permit some necessary vlans to pass through this trunk port
[Switch A]interface E1/0/1
[Switch A-Ethernet1/0/1]port link-type trunk
[Switch A-Ethernet1/0/1]port trunk permit vlan all
3.3 Enable GVRP on port E1/0/1
[Switch A-Ethernet1/0/1]gvrp
The related configuration on Switch B
3.4 Enable GVRP globally
[Switch B]gvrp
3.5 Configurate port E1/0/1 to be a trunk port and permit some necessary vlan to pass through this trunk port
[Switch B]interface E1/0/1
[Switch B-Ethernet1/0/1]port link-type trunk
[Switch B-Ethernet1/0/1]port trunk permit vlan all
3.6 Enable GVRP on port E1/0/1
[Switch B-Ethernet1/0/1]gvrp
4 Configuration tips:
4.1 When configurated LACP group, the GVRP function of the main port will still run but that of sub port will be disabled.
4.2 When add a port to the existent LACP group, the GVRP function of the port will be disabled.
4.3 When main port in LACP group leaves the LACP group, the GVRP functions of the main port and sub ports still run.When a sub port leaves the LACP group, its GVRP function will be disabled.
4.4 When searching the feature configuration of GVRP on any port in LACP group, the result of the search is the result of the searching for LACP group.
