Typical Configuration Of VRRP on AR28、AR46 Series Routers

[Requirements]

The PC gateway points to the virtual IP addresses of two routers and these two routers employ the VRRP to implement the host backup.

1.  If vrrp ping-enable is not configured, the gateway cannot be pinged through. However, the forwarding is still normal.

 

2.  By default, the VRRP works in preemption mode (Preempt=YES)
