I            Requirement for the diagram

PC connect with MSR, config the ip address, PC as TFTP Server, Starting TFTP Server on PC(Using 3CDaemon)Realizing file up-load and down-load.

Device List: 1 MSR; 1 PC

CMW Version: Version 5.20, Beta 1106

III        Steps of configuration

1) Connecting all the devices as showed in Figure 1, configuring the E0/0 with address 1.1.1.1/16, PC's address is 1.1.1.2/16;

2) Start FTP Server on PC, make sure about the ftp user name and password;

3) Configuring the Router as below:

UP Load File

//Command Analysis：tftp <server IP> put <source Filename> <destination filename>,will up load file，if down load file，using get replace put <Router>tftp 10.110.24.24 put main.bin 1.bin File will be transferred in binary mode   Sending file to remote tftp server. Please wait... \   TFTP: 15826228 bytes sent in 354 second(s).   File uploaded successfully.  //Check the up load result: There has a file named：1.bin

DOWN Load File

//Command Analysis：tftp <server IP> get <source Filename> <destination filename>，will down load a file.souce Filename、destination filename according to the source file name and the target file name. Here, the source is 1.Bin and the destination file is 2.bin <Router>tftp 10.110.24.24 get 1.bin 2.bin    File will be transferred in binary mode   Downloading file from remote tftp server, please wait.../   TFTP: 15826228 bytes received in 350 second(s)   File downloaded successfully.   //Check the down load result <Router>dir Directory of cf:/    0  drw-        - Aug 29 2006 16:09:10   logfile    1  -rw- 15826228 Aug 24 2006 19:54:50   main.bin    2  -rw- 15826228 Nov 07 2006 11:12:00   2.bin 252344 KB total (221304 KB free) File system type of cf: FAT16

 

IV       Key notes in the configuration

1)  Make sure both device are reachable;

2)  Make sure the size are the same before and after transfer;
