The DSCP value of IP packet header for both OSPF and RIP are 0x30?
Q:Why does the DSCP value of IP packet header for both OSPF and RIP are 0x30?
A:
The dscp value of ospf IP header is 0x30, and the binary value is 110000. That is ip priority is 6, which means protocol priority. The packet transformation is determined by protocol priority, so the value is be set to 0x30. And now the packet transformation is implemented by setting mbuf, so don’t consider dscp value any more.
