I            Requirement for the diagram

PC connect with MSR, config the ip address, config MSR as FTP Client, PC as FTP Server, Starting FTP Server on PC(Using 3CDaemon)Realizing file up-load and down-load.

Device List: 1 MSR; 1 PC

III        Steps of configuration

1) Connecting all the devices as showed in Figure 1, configuring the E0/0 with address 1.1.1.1/16, PC's address is 1.1.1.2/16;

2) Start FTP Server on PC, make sure about the ftp user name and password;

3) Configuring the Router as below:

UP Load File

<Router>ftp 1.1.1.2 Trying 1.1.1.2 ... Press CTRL+K to abort Connected to 1.1.1.2. 220 3Com 3CDaemon FTP Server Version 2.0 User(1.1.1.2:(none)):ftp 331 User name ok, need password Password:                     //here input ：ftpftp 230 User logged in      //File download，Source filename and Destination filename will keep the original name if there has no modify [ftp]put <Source filename>  <Destination filename>   //A Success UP load result： 227 Entering passive mode () 125 Using existing data connection 226 Closing data connection; File transfer successful. IV       Key notes in the configuration

1)  Make sure both device are reachable;

2)  Make sure all the user name, password that input are all correct;
