Disks have abnormal disk names

Some or all disks have abnormal or unexpected names:

• On ONTAP System Manager:

This issue may be the result of shelf configuration changes, such as:

• Adding/removing shelves to the cluster
• Modifying shelf names
• Having a duplicate shelf id in the shelves configuration

1. Perform a takeover and giveback of the node that displays the abnormal disk names
2. Perform a takeover and giveback of the HA partner of the node you gave back in step 1
3. Confirm if the abnormal names have been replaced by the expected disk names via ONTAP System Manager, or via ONTAP CLI by running:

cluster::> run * sysconfig -r
